smaXtec PH Plus Bolus
With the multiply awarded smaXtec PH Plus Bolus you monitor your herd’s feeding status. Additionally, you know each cow’s health status and are informed about oestrus and calving. The smaXtec PH Plus Bolus is administered to 6 to 10% of the herd and allows for conclusions about the herd’s, respectively the group’s feeding.
Key features:
FEEDING MONITORING
- Measurement of rumen pH levels – the gold standard in feeding monitoring – shows you the effects of feeding on your herd immediately
- You detect feeding issues and can take corrective measures, e.g. related to frequency of feeding or rations
- Unused potentials can be detected: You can optimise your milk production by using them without a negative impact on animal health
- This way, you increase feeding efficiency and productivity, and reduce feeding cost at the same time
- Subacute rumen acidosis, barely identifiable from outside, can be detected. This way you can take countermeasures, increase herd health and avoid secondary diseases and issues.
HEALTH MONITORING
- Continuous temperature measurement allows for earliest possible detection of changes of the health status
- Immediate alerts as soon as first signs of feverish or metabolic diseases are detected
- Reduction of antibiotics and other medication thanks to earliest possible reaction
- Monitoring of drinking behaviour
- Significant improvement of animal health
HEAT DETECTION
- Including recommended insemination time
